We offer mentorships for people under age 18 and internships for those above 18 years of age. Many of our professional studio artists and staff are willing to share their craft or art form with a youngster willing to learn. Areas in which to mentor include the print station, art education, gallery operation, artist shop, pottery, glass fusing, and various media (painting, ceramics, drawing). Please fill out the attached form and bring it in to the ZACC so we may meet you. You will need to bring your guardian or parent with you. Our mentorship program is offered to support students in program completion (high school senior projects) or to build confidence and help with experience in the arts for transitioning to further education or the workforce.

The ZACC’s youth mentoring program assists children or youth who lack role models and sponsors. As the next group of artists, designers, and small business entrepreneurs in the arts, our youth deserve some thoughtful help to become future art leaders in Missoula and get to have fun while doing so.
